1. Non-Affiliation Clause
Hikam Institute is not affiliated with, nor does it endorse, any political party, ideological movement, religious group (e.g., Tanzim, Jama‘at), or sectarian organization, whether local or international. We are strictly an educational body.
2. Rule of Law
We operate in compliance with the laws of the country in which we function and encourage all our staff, students, and affiliates to abide by all local and national laws.
3. Non-Violence Policy
We categorically oppose all forms of violence, extremism, and unlawful activity. Any individual promoting or engaging in such acts will be fully and solely responsible for their behavior. Hikam Institute does not condone or support any justification for violence.
4. Individual Accountability
Students, instructors, and affiliates of Hikam Institute are personally responsible for their statements and actions. Any individual involved in illegal, unethical, or harmful activity acts independently, and Hikam Institute is not liable for such conduct.
5. Pluralistic Educational Model
Hikam Institute welcomes scholars and teachers from various Islamic schools of thought (Madhāhib) and backgrounds, provided their content aligns with our academic and ethical guidelines. Diversity of opinion is valued within respectful limits.
6. Instructor Autonomy
Instructors at Hikam Institute are guided by academic and methodological standards. However, their course content reflects their own scholarly effort and interpretation. The views expressed by any instructor do not necessarily represent those of Hikam Institute.
7. Fatwa and Advisory Disclaimer
Hikam Institute has qualified scholars who are authorized to issue Islamic legal opinions (fatāwā). However, every individual situation is unique, and religious rulings are context-specific. Students are strongly advised to consult directly with scholars regarding their personal circumstances. Hikam Institute is not responsible for the misuse or misapplication of general advice or legal opinions.
8. Content Disclaimer
All materials, lectures, and digital content are provided for educational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, nor do they substitute formal religious consultation unless explicitly declared as such.
9. Third-Party Disclaimer
References to external websites, links, platforms, or institutions during any course or lecture do not constitute endorsement or affiliation. Hikam Institute is not responsible for the accuracy, views, or practices of third parties.
10. Intellectual Property
All course materials, content, recordings, graphics, and related resources are the intellectual property of Hikam Institute or its respective instructors. Unauthorized use, duplication, or commercial redistribution is strictly prohibited.
11. Media and Recordings
By enrolling in our courses or attending live sessions, participants consent to the possibility of being recorded. These recordings may be used for quality assurance, educational development, and promotional purposes unless a written opt-out request is received.
12. Policy Revisions
This disclaimer and related policies may be updated at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of users and participants to review and stay informed of the most recent version.

All students are expected to uphold Islamic values, proper adab (etiquette), and maintain respectful conduct during classes and communication. The Institute reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant for violations of these standards.
15. Course Cancellation Clause
Hikam Institute reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel any course in the event that minimum student enrollment is not met. In such cases, enrolled students will be notified in a timely manner and offered alternatives if available.
16. Digital Safety Clause
While we make every effort to ensure the security and integrity of our online platforms, Hikam Institute cannot guarantee absolute protection from cyber threats, data loss, or external disruptions.
