The Book of Allah is a timeless source of truth, guidance, and wisdom. It strengthens the heart, leads to the straight path, and remains ever fresh in its meaning and wonders. Whoever holds firmly to it is guided; whoever speaks by it speaks the truth; whoever acts upon it is rewarded, and whoever calls others to it leads them toward righteousness.
Keeping these qualities of the Qur’an at its heart, this course is designed for every Muslim seeking a deeper and more meaningful connection with the Divine Book. Through a structured study of its central themes, teachings, and practical guidance, students will explore faith, morality, obedience, and the relationship between the Creator and His creation, with emphasis on understanding the Qur’an through the Qur’an itself and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Curriculum
This course follows a dynamic and flexible curriculum, guided by the wisdom of our esteemed Sheikh. Rather than a predetermined syllabus, the study will be centered around selected verses (Ayat) chosen in accordance with relevant themes, current circumstances, and the needs of the students.
Each session will include a comprehensive Tafsir (exegesis) and commentary, exploring the linguistic, theological, and practical dimensions of the Qur’anic message. The Sheikh will provide contextual analysis, drawing from classical and contemporary interpretations, while highlighting the application of divine guidance in daily life.

• In-Depth Commentary: Insights into the meanings, historical context, and relevance of the chosen Ayat.
• Thematic Exploration: Discussions on faith, morality, divine commands, and the human relationship with Allah.
• Interactive Learning: Engagement through Q&A and reflective discussions to deepen understanding.
This curriculum is designed to cultivate a profound and living relationship with the Qur’an, allowing students to connect with its guidance in a meaningful and transformative way.
Rules & Eligibility
General Rules & Guidelines:
Please follow the instructions below:
- Actively participate during the class and maintain discipline.
- Respect the instructor and other group members.
- Avoid personal conflicts or comments with other participants during the class.
- Do not interrupt the instructor unless it is for an important matter. Questions and answers will be addressed in the last 10 minutes.
- If you have difficulty understanding any of the discussed points, refrain from arguing. Instead, request a private session with the instructor to clarify your doubts.
- Microphones must remain muted during class unless activation is necessary for participation.
- Enter the classroom using the name with which you registered.
- Consumption of food and drinks is not permitted during class, except for water.
- Note-taking during the class is appreciated.
Attendance guideline:
- Be present in class on time. In case of absence, submit a prior request for leave.
- If you have 15 consecutive absences in this course or are absent for 6 consecutive days, you will be expelled from the course.
- A delay exceeding 5 minutes after the class has commenced will be recorded, with three such delays counting as one absence.
Note: Attendance is considered a critical aspect of academic commitment at our institution.
Communication protocols:
- The teacher should be addressed only as ‘Sheikh.’ Do not use any other titles such as Teacher, Brother, Janab, Sir, etc.
- At the end of every class 10 minutes will be allocated for questions and answers can be submitted either by typing in the chat box or by speaking.
- If the Q&A session exceeds 10 minutes, you may request permission from the instructor to leave the class.
- If you have any questions or concerns from the previous week, or if your question remains unanswered during class, you may send a message to the following number or ask the teacher directly with their permission.
- Questions should be brief and accurate since the time for the Q&A session is limited.
Required texts and resources:
There is no textbook required; however, the sheikh might sometimes ask you to read specific articles.
Course Assessment:
This course is not based on traditional examinations. Instead, students’ participation and understanding will be assessed periodically through quizzes and tests designed to reinforce key concepts. These assessments will serve primarily as a form of self-evaluation, allowing students to reflect on their understanding of the Qur’anic teachings discussed in each session.
Although no formal grades will be awarded, active participation in discussions, thoughtful reflection, and consistency in learning will be the true measures of progress in this course. The aim is not merely academic assessment, but to develop a deeper connection with the Qur’an and its wisdom.
A certificate of participation will be awarded to the students who complete the course, InshaAllah.

Instructor
Dr. Osama Azeem Falahi
Dr. Osama Azeem Falahi was born in Chanpatti, a well-known village in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his Alim and Fazil studies at the prestigious Jamiatul-Falah in North India, followed by graduation and post-graduation studies at various Indian universities. He later earned a PhD in Religious Studies from Punjabi University, where his research focused on “Human Dignity in Islam,” with special reference to war ethics in the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He has a strong interest in the Arabic language, comparative religion, and the study of religious sects. In addition to being an experienced speaker and reciter, Dr. Osama is also deeply involved in education and student development. A significant part of his work is dedicated to teaching, mentoring, and contributing to student organizations.
